Journey to Glistergrave’s Deep – Review

Journey to Glistergrave’s Deep was a pop-up summer escape room at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). The City Adventurers headed there to find out what was going on at the Glistergrave and son mining Corp.

Plot

Descend into the shadows of Glistergrave’s Deep, the storied mine echoing with the remnants of haunted ambition. Generations ago, Lucidus Glistergrave vanished within its depths, consumed by his obsessive search for the Lux Profundus—a legendary gem said to grant eternal life. Today, a strange energy pulses from the mine’s deepest cavern, and a recent geological survey warns that a collapse is imminent. Your team of investigators must solve centuries-old puzzles, uncover long-buried secrets, and perhaps even confront the lingering presence of Lucidus himself. Can you escape before the mine’s secrets are entombed forever?

A treasure awaits – but so does the curse…

Review

The storyline revolves around a quest to find a lost jewel that was hidden within a mine by Lucidus Glistergrave.

Playing as a group of three, we entered the mine by two different entrances and had to solve puzzles to reunite the team.

We were very impressed with the production. Amazing it was all built in two weeks! Of course the planning took a lot longer but very quick construction. Guess that’s what you get when you are used to building sets.

A great variety of puzzles that kept everyone busy and a surprise element in the final room we had never seen before.

Great game and we look forward to their next production.
