Church Mice in Inverness Cathedral

As well as loving Puzzles and Escape Rooms, the City Adventurers love a good Treasure Hunt.

While we don’t write as many as we used to, we often spot them on our travels. Such was the case at Inverness Cathedral.

The large knitted animal on the front desk (too big to be a mouse surely) gave no clue that there were a range of knitted Church Mice waiting to be found, hidden around the building.

Having spotted a couple and realised this was indeed a Treasure Hunt, we set out to find them all. Each mouse or group of mice had a small written notice by it, with a description of the mouse and a secret word. they were also strategically placed. The family with the baby by the font ready for a baptism, Mary by the Lady Chapel, the vicar near the pulpit etc.

In addition the cathedral had a knitted King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Worth going on a Treasure Hunt if you are in Inverness.
