Always on the look out for treasure hunts and trails, I came across the Summer Window Art Trail. It takes place on Chingford Mount high street (London E4) until 29 September 2023.

There are 18 pieces of window artwork to find. You can make it into a treasure hunt as you search for them……or take the easy route and pick up a map from any of the participating shops with their window painted.
Each window artwork is hand-painted, with designs reflecting the unique character of the shop. In addition, there are posters next to each art piece which feature a local resident story. The website even says there’s a puzzle to solve on every window.
