The City Adventurers wondered why there were Alice in Wonderland references throughout the Daish’s hotel they were staying in. We were told that Lewis Carroll had a connection with Llandudno and that there was an Alice Trail around the town.
Obviously we were keen to explore so headed to the Tourist information office and bought the map.
Unfortunately the trail was written in 2013 so some things were missing. We were expecting an AR trail but the website and app no longer work. Also, some of the places and sites mentioned no longer exist.
However a lot of the statues are still there and the route has helpful rabbit print plaques along the way to show you are on the right track.
A fun but tiring day out.
