Jungle is an edge matching puzzle. It consists of thirty six square cards that need to be arrange into a larger square having six squares per side. There are four different coloured vines that need to be matched. Each vine crosses the outside edge twice, once to enter and once to leave.
This puzzle is a lot easier than it looks. I imagine many people are put off by the size of the puzzle, but most of the edges have only one matching edge. So once you start putting edges together it all falls into place.
Artistic Ratings
The ratings I have chosen for this puzzle is 7,7,8. The final solution is pleasant to look at and I think the whole presentation of the puzzle is quite pleasing. I think the designers did a good job in getting the complexity just right.
